How do you fight rez/heal spam?
So i got into the light place, ♥♥♥♥ knows what it's called, and basically you can't kill certain groups. They just heal and rez each other. It's impossible to keep up. You can't kill the healers becasue they have the tanky ♥♥♥♥. Can't kill the tanky ♥♥♥♥ becasue they have healers and they just keep buffing themselves to the point where they just one-shot your creatures.

i am guessing u are still early.
if yes i would say get something that increase ur def so u wont die + something that increases ur atk (i would go with some kind of spell gem for def and apocalypse creatures for atk)

The level of increase I would need is beyond reasonable.

False Belief is the ultimate one-click anti heal spam. It even counters RI5 'Heal 80...% health every turn'.

Resurrection is easier to counter:
- Void Flare spell
- Perks like 'Burn their Corpses' or 'Lay to Rest'
- Corrupted Phoenix: Final Breath
- or just kill again
- Corpse Explosion helps against Realm modifier 'Resurrection', because the first creature killed immediately resurrects when Corpse Explosion starts to spam, so during the resurrection of all the enemies’ creatures Corpse Explosion is still going

Later there are other solutions to the rez spam, but just having blight applied should help a lot early on.

It's like the 3rd one I got and it's been in my party since.

I don't have "void flare"

I have not encountered "burn their corpses" or "lay to rest"

I know what "Corrupted Phoenix" is.

I kill them loads of times and I have the corpse explosion trait. But one corpse exlposion doesn't kill anyone and they just heal up the damage it does.

I swapped in dire wolves and bombarding bats to get extra hits in. Generally have all my creatures +str -def since I use a rez team myself.

If you are an inquisitior you have a perk to stop it. What class are you?

Direwoles was also one of the earliest ones I picked up and kept with me. I play defiler. I hit them with 3 debuffs on start, ignore shell and barrier and I lower their def by 35%.

Still get CREAMED!

It will help us if you tell us your build (just creatures + fusion + possible artifact trait, no spell gems and artifacts stats) and your current highest realm.

Heal/res Spam is annoying but shouldn't hit you that hard

Depth 25

All are fused. All are lvl 24-25 except the last which is only 15:

Unicorn vivifier + Terror Wight
Terror Hound + Noxious Smog
Crazed leper + Ebony Ent
Gimp Mummy + Koloss Firebrand
Ira Sin + Dawn Crusader(the one with minor ressurect)

If the problem was simply that my build was obviously ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I wouldn't mind so much. The reason I'm so irate is becasue up to this point I've literally only needed to hold down E and turbo trolololol through the realms.

Now all of a sudden I literally can't hurt them. Sure, fights take forever but when it comes to a point where creatures take 60+ % damage from attacks they wear me down. And I haven't gotten anything to counter them.

If there was a silence(or better yet mass silence) or a way to stop ressurections I could perhaps fight, but I got nothing!

Really the biggest thing keeping me alive so long is my mummy with Verdant Spheres so he can steal their cheat spells.

Thanks xD,
I recommend the following: I did not make too much changes because of the price and time to level up. However you need a 6th creature.
If you want these changes, go back and grind Erebyss realm and others a bit for leveling up. AFterwards grind at Realm 15+ to train the new creatures.

Blood Reaper (Erebyss Realm, Path of the Damned) + Skeleton Sniper (costs 10 Erebyss Emblems)
After this creature Attacks a creature with less than 35% Health, it is killed, and your creatures recover 200% health.
When this creature Attacks, it has a 50% chance to deal 200% more damage.
->Sword Artifact for attack bonus
- IMPORTANT: must be creature number 1
- also makes short work if enemies resurrect with low health

Ebony Ent + Unicorn Vivier
Your creatures always have Mending.
After this creature Attacks, it resurrects a random ally with 50% Health.
- because so you have a Life creature if you fuse this way
- Terror Wright relies on your creatures dying, not a good strategy at this point

Terror Hound + Noxious Smog
Your creatures start battles with 3 stacks of Dire Wolves. This trait does not stack.
This creature's attacks deal 75% more damage and afflict Poisoned.
- this is good

Gimp Mummy + Koloss Firebrand
This creature's attacks deal 75% more damage and afflict Cursed.
This creature deals additional damage with attacks and spells equal to its Current Health minus the target's Current Health.
-> Helm Artifact for Health Bonus
- Koloss Firebrand needs Health stacking, at this point difficult but keep it as it is

Crazed Leper + Corrupted Phoenix
After an enemy dies, this creature Casts Corpse Explosion.
After an enemy is resurrected, it has a 75% chance to be killed again.
- Fusion trait swapped with Unicorn Vivier because you need intelligence for Corpes Explosion and that way the Res-Spammers won't bother you anymore
- you can use this creature for Verdant Spheres and use Gimp Mummy for attacking

EDIT:
Much better would be Gimp Mummy + Corrupted Phoenix and Crazed Leper + Koloss Firebrand, the later is an extremly deadly combo even for endgame content, if you do it now, you don't need to rebuild in lategame (just a thought)

Cave Cockatrice + Pilwiz Peasant
At the start of battle, this creature gains 2 random traits that belong to the same race as the first creature in your party.
This creature's attacks deal 75% more damage and afflict Bleeding.
- will debuff enemies for Corpse Explosion
- also gets 2 Reaper traits, so it can be pretty deadly

Ira Sin and Cruasder were useless at this point, because stats wise this creature was too weak to fully utilize the buffs.

Defiler Perks priority
1. Wane
Ranks: 20
Cost Per Rank: 4
At the start of battle, enemies lose 1% Health per rank.
Maximum Bonus: 20% Health loss
- helps Koloss Firebrand and Reapers especially

2. Curse of Fragility
Ranks: 35
Cost Per Rank: 2
Enemies have 1% less Maximum Health per rank.
Maximum Bonus: 35% less Health
- helps Koloss Firebrand and Reapers especially

3. Impiety
Ranks: 1
Cost Per Rank: 100
Your creatures ignore enemies' Shelled and Barrier buffs.
- reskill if necessary

Sorry I see I've missed one.
The one I missed was Terra Vulpes + Amorphous Shambler

I fused the Ira Sin becasue I needed a light creature.

I have never encountered a skeleton sniper nor a corrupted phoenix.

My Koloss mummy does have a health-boost helmet.
Louis Cypher Jun 26, 2021 @ 10:53am
Skeleton Sniper must be bought from Erebyss with 10 emblems, you can farm this easily.
It will make short work with your enemies: 50% chance to deal 200% more damage, pretty crazy - in particular while fused with Blood Reaper.
I don't know if this is a bug or not. But if Reapers attack, first the damage is applied then the trait, meaning they can insta kill if the reduce the enemy below 35% health while attacking.
The Defiler perks I recommended help with that.

Ditch the Crazed Leper for now, it won't help much without strong spell modifiers. And fuse Ebony Ent with Unicorn Vivifier,
Terra Vulpes + Amorphous Shambler will Replace Ira Sin + Dusk Crusader.
The Rest as above.

First fuse as much as you can, then go to Erebyss realm and grind for Blood Reaper + Skeleton Sniper. Your new creatures can level up that way.

Afterwards if you have everything go to Realm 15+ to level up the Blood Reaper a bit and then you will steamroll until late/mid game

The sniper comes from the god shop. Talk to the god and pay them tokens for new creatures.

Honestly I don't remember the early game because I blew past it, but have you encountered the permanent leach worm yet? Combining him with the terror hound makes a great support character.

My early game was valkerite scout + unicorn because anytime I got hit he hit back with a 50% to rez. A rez hunter + Valk scout for the same reason (still in my team at 300+), the bat thats % to hit when I attack, the dire wolf, and a brownie who has sweeping smash so he hit both left and right of him that was my core. But then again as inquisitior I took away the enemies perks vs you are debugged based.

Also FYI for the future you can go to the options and export your teams composition so you don't have to type things out.

Anyways, I'll probably start a new game. Now knowing more, like that you can buy creatures from the gods. So many classes I want to try anyway!

Be aware that you can unlock the other classes later and switch with ease. Even respec is easily done from your wardrobe.
To fully experience the power of each class you need to unlock all perks.

Just rearrange your team a little and go on. New Game won’t give you any advantage.
