Treasure Golems (and Dumplings)
So I don't know how exactly Treasure Golems or Dumplings spawn (what chances and if there's triggers or if they'll spawn at realm creation) but I feel like there should be some way to increase the chance... I haven't seen a Treasure Golem (and have only seen one Dumpling) since beating the last boss and I'm nearing realm 150 now...

One thing that would be pretty cool is if the chance to spawn a Treasure Golem increased based on the number of unopened chests in the previous Realm or something, but I'm not sure if that'd be possible. Maybe even something like destroying chests after opening them had a small chance to spawn a Golem would be nice (idk if there'll still be a Talisman like in S3 that had a chance when opening chests).

As for Dumplings, I don't mind them spawning very rarely as that's the whole idea, but hopefully the "Kill a Dumpling" prophecy won't show up every board (it's 2 for 2 for me, I've been trying to get as close to blackout as possible both times, though, and the first one I eventually gave up on Golem and Dumpling killing) if there's nothing you can do to increase your chance to find them.

So adding Realm Instability either increases the odds fairly significantly, or I happened to finally get lucky upon trying it again (realized I also hadn't tried instability since finishing the boss, lol). I don't even think the loot % was much higher than lots of the stable realms I was doing, but I guess maybe just increasing instability also raises the chance for them to spawn?

one of the features to be added is called realmshaping. perhaps something that increases the likelihood of treasure golems and dumplings appearing could come with that.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Yeah, the chance is probably a bit lower than it should be right now.

I'm ok with a low chance on treasure golems. I feel so sad about killing them, that I generally just leave the level before I fight them.

Wow, haha. See, I never even realized that the Pandemonium Shrine could spawn the Dumplings, that's nice to know. Though I always clear the whole realms anyways, including those shrines, but now I'll have to make sure I pay more attention when the cute creature effect triggers to make sure I don't forget to find them.

EDIT: They spawn either, haha. I never pictured a Treasure Golem as "cute", but I guess maybe how they hoard shiny things?

You don't have to kill them! Just defend or skip turns until they run away. You will get the loot nonetheless!

But... im a monster and want to kill them.

I hope there's a super scrap golem that I can run into that gets stronger with each treasure one I kill.

I always thought maximum damage output required, or he will get away ;)
