collision detection

hi,
is there also a collision detection for ground based games like Commando?
that blocks u from trees, rocks etc.

The player and bullets can collide with background elements.
The collision can decrease the HP, and/or make the player slide.
But keep in mind that the SHMUP Creator animation system is too simple right now to create a walking character like in commando.
