How do you make a cold room?
I have a small room to put my food in, and I have a fan but the heat is always high as it goes with the weather. I even have the thing set to -10 degree's.

I was able to build one with a tier 2 fan, setting it to -4 on the thermostat, and that on a 2 block room

The temperature and lighting seems a bit wonky. It needs polish for sure. Ill have my people standing directly under a lamp and the "in the dark" debuff wont go away. I put lights in almost every spot and kept certain survivors under those lights but the debuff never went away. I really hope temperature isnt the same way because the temp is extremely crucial for growing food and if I lose another run to a bug im gonna blow a blood vessel.

I used a 2 room sealed room with 2 tier 3 fan in -10 and food does not spoil

anyone understand the stats, I made a intelligence character and it says max skills 18-20, but he maxed out at 12?

I'm experiencing the same thing Walker. It's happened to multiple stats now too.

I do not understand the cold room at all, the temp is 29 outside, and the cold room is degrading at 45 with a lvl 2 fan at - 10 degree's. I think it is a bug. IT is only a small room as well.

i used a lvl 3 fan, on a whole lvl ... i set it to -10 degrees, turn it on ... then click the button to see room temperature ... when it is cold enough i turn it off, and save electricity .... while the temperature will go down fast, it will increase slowly

but this requires lots of micro managment, i am already at the end of my patiance clicking repair repair all the time on stuff. I would like to use that automatation perk ... but this means a thing has to break down before they repair it ... wish they made it into 3 points skill ... like 0%- 25% -50% or smth

I found that the bigger the room is, the colder it gets. So I made an entire floor just for pantries and got a lvl 2 (later upgraded to level 3) fan with thermostat set to the lowest temperature. This made stored food not degrade at all. Then I used a small pantry where my kitchen is to transfer food to from my food storage whenever someone needed to eat.

I still think the temperature is hella buggy because I have a room that has a Halogen Heater set to max and people still get frozen and lose health every time they're there while it's not even winter. not sure how it works.

Room temp is *very* buggy. Larger rooms cool faster and better than smaller rooms, so I think the devs got something mixed up with room temps!

When I went below 0C my food degraded, so I kept my fans set to 0C.

Lol i have a fan lv 1 that keeps cold all a floor until 0 ° if i want.
Anyway outside temperature souldn't affect inside temperature as it does.
Waiting for a correctif.

It is either a bug or typo, but it kicks in randomly for any item less than 100%. I have 4 people with it and I almost never have to manually fix stuff anymore.

yeee i build smallest room with T3 + T2 fans, set on -10 and in the summer (30+) room get to +20 degrees. Definitely need to be reworked.
