Is ExamTaker (Bonus Chapter) a sequel to Helltaker or a alternate universe of Helltaker?
I was just wondering, because at the end of the ExamTaker chapter, there was a cutscene where Lucy was talking to Subject 67 about how she really want to be the queen of Hell again after Loremaster took over. And she also said to Subject 67, that she reminds her of someone she met back in the day, and I think it was the Helltaker. Because they kind of have the same animation in the game and other stuff. So, it could mean it's some sort of sequel. But I think that this chapter is some sort of alternate universe because there was no Judgement, Modeus, Beelzebub, Zdrada, Malina, Cerebeus, Pandemonica and Azazel. The characters that was from Helltaker that appeared in ExamTaker was only Lucifer, and Justice. And the Hell in ExamTaker looks a little different than the Hell in Helltaker.

That doesn't seem right. This is the end of the fallen angel arc from the comics, so this should take place in the normal timeline

Loremaster IS Azazel.

Van is still drawing the abysstaker ending continuity.

Hold up, Fallen Azazel is part of the abbysstaker timeline? I always thought it was the Helltaker one

He never indicated that he switched back to normal.

Also, Helltaker would probably stop Lucy from enacting her hilariously bad plan.

I'm pretty sure that Subject 67 is the Helltaker that got turned into a demon via some twisted science experiments. He is said to be a human-demon hubrid, and he also wears Helltaker's white pants

My best guess is this is either the future or an alternate reality.
Either way I am positive of 4 things.
1. Azazel is Loremaster
2. Maid Lucifer is HOT!
3. Apple Justice is just WRONG
and 4. I WANT MORE!!!

My best guess is that this is a continuation from the recent set of comics in which Azazel is slowly falling (Becoming a fallen angel A.K.A a demon). In the end Lucifer manages to convince her into fall by saying she could learn secrets no angel has ever had access to. So as Azazel falls, she becomes Loremaster and takes over Hell... somehow.

But now what makes me say that Lore master is Azazel. Well it's rather simple, her quest for knowledge is clear in the trails she sets you as Subject 67 through, she states that she was once an angel who had fallen, but i think the biggest and best evidence was when she repeated a quote from the base game and took the exact same pose.

However there is still a problem. Helltaker did not appear in any of the Regular Ending Timeline comics for quiet some time now. So we don't really know which timeline its taking place in. My money personally would be that he's just in the hospital or something along those likes. I don't think the demons would stay in Helltaker's home if he left them for Beel, through a one way portal, into the Abyss which is a dark and empty prison.

Now let's also just quickly say that Subject 67 is Helltaker or rather an experimented clone of Helltaker. Lucy sort of hints at this in the ending saying 67 reminds her of a man she once knew, Lucy is only really nice to a select few and that includes the Helltaker.

But where could Azazel clone Helltaker from if he was stuck in the Abyss.
So i'd say that Fallen Azazel comics and Examtaker take place in the Normal Ending timeline. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

Why wouldn't they?

I think that The Helltaker didn't appeared in the regular timeline. Because, VanRipper has been focusing on making comics for the Abyss timeline instead of the normal timeline, since the end of December 2020. And he still making comics for the Abyss timeline till this day.

Well what reason is there for them to stay on earth? Most of them joined the harem of Helltaker because Helltaker himself. The only exclusion of this is Cerberus who simply wanted to corrupt the mortal realm but she is still Lucifer's pet so she would probably be dragged along with the others.

Also let's not forget that despite living with them Helltaker willingly and knowingly decided that he would step through that portal to be with Beel with there being no way out. He chose eternal imprisonment with Beel over his harem, if i was one of the demon girls in his harem then i'd probably feel pretty betrayed and leave his house, what is there to gain in that house after that which they don't have in hell.

They're just enjoying themselves on Earth. Lucy, Pand and Judgment are relaxing and doing regular stuff, Mod, Justice and Azazel are having fun with sexual escapades, etc.
They aren't really grief stricken that Helltaker isn't there.

I know what post you're talking about, the one that shows the timeline and stuff. But that only claims that the latest comics were in the Beel timeline.

The title of the next comic after that post however does claim that Helltaker is forever stuck in the Abyss.

The comic after that Judgement claims that all the girls are now seeing this as a ''Vacation in the mortal realm''.

But that doesn't mean anything, because we don't get such confirming titles or little hints in the Fallen Azazel comics. Sure helltaker isn't there and it was said he is forever stuck in the Abyss. But who knows if these comics are set in the Normal Ending timeline.

Been rereading the comics quickly again ant Judgement does indeed seem to refer to the fact that all of them see it as a ''Vacation in the mortal realm.'' and they are seen mostly having fun in the comics afterwards so it might indeed be correct.
