Only time will tell.
I see ok then
wack i always thought he didnt go into the void with her
also so if thats true doesnt that make the comics not cannon cause he is sometimes present?
and when creator man said that this was supposed to be a comic but he made it a chapter doesnt that mean this is not canon then?
i am probably overthinking this
A lot of the earlier comics are from the "regular" timeline, where Helltaker gets to enjoy life with his demon harem, but most of the recent comics explore the "abyssal" timeline where Helltaker gets trapped with Beel.
The anniversary update is an extension of the abyssal timeline, far in the future after Azazel has completely fallen (as hinted at in recent comics), and has now taken over hell as the "Science Demon" (confirmed in the anniversary concept art).
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ man you are going big brain
thanks
I don't understand the point of an alternate timeline like this. Why not just continue from where the ending/secret ending left off? Have Helltaker persuade Beelzebub to be part of the harem and join his life on the surface together with Lucifer and the others. Let them figure out how to escape from the Void realm and convince Lucifer to finally come to terms with Beel and their past (or form some kind of mutual truce). Why not pick up on that note? Or introduce Baphomet into the game. (I believe she is even from the official comics?) Imo both would have been a much better continuation instead of some depressing what-if huge-timeskip scenario that isn't going to matter for the original story anyway. Tbh I actually enjoyed Examtaker less than I did the demo for the Second Circle fan-game. It might just be an unfinished VN at this point without much in the way of gameplay, but story-wise it feels like a much more satisfying and logical next step than this. It even includes all the main characters!
