Controls broken

I've been having this weird problem where whenever I start a level the player moves to the left and i cant move him in any direction other than right, but then he just snaps back to the left. I've tried reinstalling the game and resetting my pc twice. I've tried unplugging my keyboard but that didn't help either. Any ideas?

Has to do with vjoy apparently, it's addressed in the help section

Movement problems - character can only move to the left
One of those two solutions should help:
1. uninstall VJoy (if you have it installed) and then restart the computer
2. go to Device Manager -> Human Interface Devices -> HID-compliant game controller -> and disable it

I have the same issue but I have no idea what vjoy is and cant find it anywhere on my pc
further research points to it being due perhaps to the 3d-modeling mouse thingy that i had to set up for someone, will update if it works
