(HTC vive pro 2 )
Seems like this issue started to happen about a month ago with HTC headsets. We expect to solve it with our next patch, which will roll out in about a month.
Same thing here (HTC Vive), waiting eagerly for the patch
Unfortunately the OG Vive we have at the studio stopped working, and so I'm unable to do any tests, which means the patch is delayed. If any of you would be willing to work together with me on this patch, we'd appreciate it a lot.
If you're up for it - please email us at peanutbuttonmedia@gmail.com
And we'll take it for here.
Otherwise, I'll update here again when this is resolved (which would take much longer if I dodn't get any remote testers haha).
Thanks to your help I've found the last game version where the tracking issue on HTC Vive headsets does't occur, and made it public for all players.
Follow these steps to get this version:
1. Right click on the game in your library
2. Select "properties"
3. Select "betas"
4. opt into the public channel called "test-0.56"
Hopefully we'll be able to release a new patch that solves this automatically soon - this is important for the sequel as well :-)
Take care everybody,
Asaf from Peanut Button
I've uploaded a patch to our default release channel, so after updating the game the bug should be fixed.
Thanks again to everybody here who helped out
Asaf
