Two Rule Clarifications
***Solved

First I'd just like to say how much I'm loving the digital game. Thanks for making it!
Two Rules have caught my attention so far that contradict the physical rule book and i just wanted to make sure I'm not missing something or if it's a bug.

1. Beer consumption: I was under the impression that as long as I was connected to someone's beer I could use it to sell my goods. But the game told me I couldn't sell because i had no connection to beer. This ruined a few turns for me as i had planned on using their beer and I was connected to it. I have screenshots if that will help. But maybe I'm just wrong and you can't use other player's beer?

2. Building Action: When building an industry tile, do you not have to first discard a card, and then discard the industry tile card (be it a location or an industry card)? The game isn't making players discard a second card to build. Although i do prefer it this way, as i get to keep more cards, i didn't think that was the rule.

Thanks for any feedback on this and for your great work!

PS. Just some quality of life suggestions:
- it would be really appreciated to have some keyboard shortcut options for the actions and to see the various tables (income track, industry tile, etc.)
- Some more/softer colour options for the players would be much appreciated. The current ones are quite intense and take away from the general aesthetic.

1. I believe the beer needs to be connected to the location you plan to sell to AND the merchant you're planning to sell to. Was that the case?
2. Every action takes one card (with the exception of taking two wild cards, which takes a total of 3 cards because you get 2 wilds back). Therefore, you only need one card to build.
2a. The location tiles allow you to build ANYTHING at the specified location, regardless of whether it is in "Your network", as long as the resources are needed for it are connected to that location.
2b. INDUSTRY cards are "wild" cards that can be used to build that specific industry at any location THAT IS CONNECTED TO YOUR NETWORK.

Thanks so much for your reply. This does indeed answer my questions.

1. I was connected to everything but didn't realise that the industry tile i was trying to sell required TWO beer to sell. My bad.

2. That definitely clears it up. I've been playing the physical version incorrectly then. Discarding a card to take the build action, and then discarding the appropriate card.

Cheers,

You must have been playing some pretty short games, if you were discarding TWO cards for every build action!!!
