Please use Disciples 2 as the template
Some good memories. I never played Disciples 1 but I still know part 2 was vastly superior to part 3.

My wishlist:

- please do NOT use the limited map movement of Disciples 3 to what basically ended up as a linear path. This was by far the worst and killed any fun

- one thing I loved about DIsciples 2 was how you could import characters, name them and level them up to very high levels and use them in the main campaign; Disciples 3 removed this option and I hated this

- please add the artifacts back in, as well as the skill system that allowed using them, and weapons / armor for which Disciples 3 had another very bad linear approach, having weapons and armor with a linear upgrade path that killed fun E.g. Ranger Bow, Ranger Bow +1, Ranger Bow +2 etc.

- Disciples 2's weak point was that each hero only had a single attack, I loved the vampire (lord ?) with its cool animation and full enemy party life leech but please add several attacks for each hero and spells of different elements for each mage hero

the banshee (I think ?) was the most useless of them all, having a fear effect that removed enemies from battles and the experience gained by killing them; leveling her up got you nothing, since the fear effect was not number dependant

this was shared by a few others with similar 'abilities' that did not improve, I think the Elf mage summoned an Ent that always had the same HP and was quite useless

maybe some very rare weapons / armor / items could add new attacks E.g. an Ice Sword that allows to perform an Ice elemental attack and visibly glows with a blue light during battle

- please start with the Human, Dwarf, Undead and Demon races, dont start with less like was the case in Disciples 3; you can ingnore the Elfs if needed but the other 4 are the minimum requirement

Hey Schutzengel, I am also a long time fan of the series. I fully agree with your points (expect for the Baroness, (not Banshee, she is the Undead's rod planter) she has her uses).

I would advice saying that in their FAQs but this also good. I would like to add they should have the rod planters back.

No please not ignore elves. Mountain Clans is much meh race imo but Empire, Legions of the Dammned, Hordes of the Undead and Elves are the 4 basic races that must be at start in this new DIsciples.

I disagree with that. As Mountain Clans were the original enemies to the Undead Horde.

So it means: Empire, Elves, Hordes and Legions.

I think you must be mistaken. It is Clans that imprisoned Bethrezen so I would say the Clans and Legions are enemies. I don't remember exactly but i think that Elves were the ones who have quarell with Hordes of the Undead.

The MC did imprison Bethrezen, their god(Wotan) also is the reason Motris(Undead Goddess) by turning into a wolf and ripping Gallean's heart and throwing it into the sun.

Motris(lover of Gallean) wants vengeance against Wotan and his disciples. It's in the first game lore.

As well as, in the firsr game in the Undead saga your main enemy are the MC and it's reserve for MC. MC have a lot of involvement in the series.

It's sad they aren't having a big role in the third game.

I'm pretty sure the first 2 games "paired" dwarves with undead and Legions with Empire. Elves were originally neutral to anyone. Until their expansion where they became pretty much THE big guys of the world )
Also, Bethrezen was imprisoned by other gods, not by dwarves. Dwarves created the seal to keep Legions away after their first invasion long time ago.

That said, dwarves have by far the most boring lore overall. Also, back when Strategy First (the original developer) were still in charge of the series, they said that after D2 Dwarves are a dying race with over half of the clans completely wiped out, so...
