Cannot defeat Stormbringer for good

It says you have do defeat Stormbringer for 5 rounds. Meanwhile I have conquered him much more than 5 times, but he still keeps attacking over and over again which ist quite annoying. Am I missing something?

You need to burn the corpse of his dead wife in the grave....

But (spoiler alert I guess), you only get the option to do it if you kissed the Whisperer (the banshee who's part of the Council), if you did her quest in another way you won't get the option in the grave.

then he is immortal and come back in other fight. He is avoidable tho.
