Game does not start properly

When I start the game, the big "Disciples -Liberation-" logo appears and after that I only have a black screen.

Has anyone here already had such a problem or an idea what I can do?
Other current games run fine.

Some antivirus programs are playing havoc with the launcher.
Try a quick test and turn off yours, and if it starts okay you need to make the antivirus to trust the application.
There is a post explaining how to do it, but first see if that is your problem.

Also check your integrity of the install.
In case you don't know - Right click game in your library, click "properties" then "local files" then check integrity.

It's not the antivirus program, I exhibited it even though my husband can play with the same program. I checked the game for errors, nothing was found. I also uninstalled it and reinstalled it on a different hard drive .. Run as admin ....
It can't really be due to the hardware either, since the minimum requirements are far exceeded in all points. The only thing I can think of is that the game may not be able to handle two graphics cards? So far I've never had a problem (1080TI 11GB/ Sli)

1) Title of the game
2) System & platform you are playing on
3) Complete system information (for PC, please attach the DxDiag file of your computer)
4) A brief description of this error and when this occurs (e.g, right when you try to start it, after you have reached the menu screen, etc), and how often it occurs.

To create the DxDiag.txt, please do the following:

• Click "Start" button and choose "Run". Or alternatively, press (Windows-Button)+R
  Then type "dxdiag" (without quotation marks) and click “OK”
  
• Click the "Save all Information"-button, located at the bottom of the program window
  Save the file as "dxdiag.txt”
  
• Attach the file "dxdiag.txt" to your email to [e-mail]

The Kalypso Support was able to find the problem.
I was missing The Media Feature Pack for N versions of Windows 10.

If someone ends up with the problem, here is the link on how to install the pack:

Got the same Problem after reinstall win10 but for the first time Win10 ProN Version.
The Solution worked perfectly. Thank you druna for posting.
@kalypsomedia why the hell does this game need Microsoft Media version
