Cause it's a fluke, people looking up gameplay or the link being posted on a popular forum. Their other videos on Disciples 2 have about the average amount of views that you can expect from that game. The game has less than 100 daily players on steamcharts and while there might be people playing the GoG version I doubt that there are that many of them. Heroes 6 which is the worst in the series has double that. And of course there are the pirates but we cannot really judge interest from that because there is no way to see what the numbers are. It's a dead series with remnants of fandom remaining. I would love it to come back but that talk of how popular it is is just delusional.

A tendency would be Disciples 2 videos consistently getting good viewcounts. That's not the case.
