Now in that trailer what i see is Disciples trying to copy King's Bounty... WHY? Do you even understand King's Bounty 2 is going to release at same time? What do you expect? Moreover, game horribly stutters/lags even in trailer, i am 100% sure my PC is worse than that shown in a trailer. So how you expect us to play unoptimised game?
Creatures, skill animation, grapchics and even MUSIC in trailer 2 absolutly copies King's Bounty style.

I don't get it, what are you thinking, devs?
Look, just because I am willing to give Liberation a fair shake doesn't mean I don't like Disciples 2. Hell, I kind of like 3 as well, although it is kind of a trashfire :D I started the Disciples series with a demo of Disciples 1 off a magazine disk in 1999 and I've spend years playing 2 but honestly I was kind of shocked when they announced another game in the series. I hope that Liberation does well enough so they can bring a true TBS sequel to the series as fans want one.
At the same time I also like the kind of game that Liberation tries to be so I am not really upset with the direction they decided to take even if it is not faithful to what the series used to be. In any case we kind of have to acknowledge that it is a small publisher that has commissioned this game and that they are following trends that are popular at the moment and that because they are kind of small and hence small-budget there will be a lot of cut corners with the game. If the series gets popular again I would expect resurgence of at least some of the features that made it popular in the first place as well.
I like HoMM and I started with 5 but I must admit turning HoMM into an RTS sounds interesting.
Could have been a RTS with more then just 3 factions, which seems to happen a lot, unfortunately.
