game crashes after language selection [ENG]

after opening the game and selecting the language, the game freezes and after about 10-20 seconds it closes by itself. tried check integrity. did reinstall. nothing worked (yes, reboot also after each step). anyone who encountered this ?

do you happen to have folders and files in "My Documents" :
1. \Documents\Tour de France 2020\Config ?
2. \Documents\Tour de France 2020\CrashReport ?

1. can you try this :

there is 2 possibilities (most probably the B) :
A. A 3rd party antivirus, preventing the game to write in My Documents (possible).
=> Add the exe of the application Tour de France 2020 may resolve the issue.


B. If there is only the security of Windows 10, add the application to the authorized apps.

1. Select Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Security > Virus & threat protection.
2. Under Virus & threat protection settings, select "Protection against ransomware".
3. Click to "Authorize an app via a control access to folders."
4. Add the application to exceptions.

Launch the application.
Note that there may be the need for a restart of the system.

2. can you transfer us any files within the CrashReport folder, if any ?

I found the crash reports. Shall I send them via email to support or how shall we continue on this? I already sent to support dxdiag report before and after I re-installed video card driver

It would help to get the crash reports.
It contains some data for the devs to correct the issue.

at least a confirmation that the crash dumps and dxdiags were received via email? I'm starting to lose my patience. Can i rollback the last update of the game somehow maybe? It used to work.......

Any solution to this yet? I have the same issue, my game just restarts after a minut on the language page, and get stuck there over and over again

i'm waiting for a solution since 8th of september. They told me its because of antivirus but it doesn't work even with the antivirus turned off.
So,if you're within 2 weeks from game purchase / having less than 24h of play (steam refund politics), I suggest you do a refund and buy it again when it'll be solved.
