The ultimate gloves are probably Psychic Knuckles, I think you get them with no effort in the final area. The real "ultimate" end-game thing is really Bombo-Genesis, but I also found it completely unnecessary in the final boss fight.
Fate is a b*****d.
You can also use Teledenuate to remove "Charged" off various enemies that use it. Not sure how useful this can be, but it definetely does feel good to mess up enemy turns like that.
I assume you've already played "Middens", "Gingiva" and "Where They Cremate The Roadkill" trilogy?
Sorry to necro something so old but for the sake of discussion and to not be rude:
I have beaten Gingiva and have watched someone play gingiva and a small bit of the where the cremate the roadkill games. They are not as much what I am looking for. They are like full on arthouse, balls to the wall punk. not punkish. They are cool experiences but just a little too David Lynch if he made an rpg for me.
The other titles I consider to be in the same wheelhouse are things like "Space Funeral", "Jimmy and the Pulsating Mass", "Omori", "Lisa: the Painful", "Off", "Undertale", etc.
Hylics is probably on the far end of what I enjoy, but I do REALLY enjoy it. I think the other games you mentioned just (from the little I know) stray a little TOO far from convention to scratch the same itch. Hylics and Hylics 2 have solid rpg engines/ game logic at their core so they still work, while something like "Gingiva" has it's own logic that is not necessarily married to any game or rpg logic at all.
It's literally one of the most useful spells in the game. It's a dispel. Works on allies and enemies. You can teledenudate the bomelaug's tether homunculus. You can teledenudate the glommed status. It's great.
I thoroughly enjoyed typing it :)
