Thanks for getting in touch with us - we're sorry to see you're experiencing some issues while playing Ship of Fools.
Regarding the issue you're having with Briny's dialogue, let's try to check your game installation to make sure that there are no corrupted files causing the problem. To do this:
- Right-click on the game in your Steam Library
- Choose Properties
- Switch to the Local Files tab and press Verify integrity of game files...
Can you also please try and repair the Steam Library?- In the top-left corner, click on the Steam menu
- From the menu, select Settings
- Navigate to the Storage tab on the left sidebar
- In the right-hand pane, click the three horizontal dots next to C:\Program Files (X86)\Steam
- Select Repair Folder
Please then follow the on-screen instructions and let the library folder be repaired. Then test whether these steps have resolved the issue. The issue you're having with not being able to load the game - is the game launching but you're not able to join the game?
Can you please confirm if you are both joining the game on the same computer or separate computers via an online connection?
Thanks in advance for any further information you can provide - get back to us when you can.
Regards,
