Issues on steam deck with local coop

Connect two xbox controllers via bluetooth. Seems no matter what controller starts the game, the other controller cannot join. Can join one controller and the built-in steam deck controls but not two controllers, the built-in controller is always one of the players. Thanks!

Thanks for getting in touch with us - sorry to hear you're having issues with your controller inputs on Ship of Fools.

Can you please confirm that you are trying to play 2-player local co-op but using 2 Xbox controllers?

Can you please try to reorder the Xbox controllers to be above the built-in Steam controller using the following steps:

1. With a game open, press the Quick Access '...' button
   
2. Select Rearrange Controller Order
   
3. Select the controller you want to use, and press the selection button (reorder)
   
4. Use the d-pad to move it to the top - repeat with the second controller
   
5. Press the selection button (stop reorder) again to finalise the order

After this, do the correct controllers work in-game?
