Playing split-screen with my kid

Is this a good game for a 6 years old playing with his father? We play several split-screen games and I am not sure how fun this one would be. How long is it and how complicated for a kid to grasp?

Shared screen, not split screen. It's not complicated, but does get quite hectic. Think overcooked but instead of cooking, washing and serving you're shooting, whacking and fixing.
A complete run can take from 30 minutes up to an hour, depending on your success and routing.
I found the start moderately frustrating because you're fairly squishy and don't deal a ton of damage. But it gets better with every upgrade you buy.
