The reception of this game is pissing me off.

Most people will get pissed off by this but yall are kinda stupid.

But before I piss you off enough to skip the entire rant, here are some important information you should look at:

Firstly, Capcom wanted this game to be PvEvP. They said so in multiple interviews, articles and gameplay Demos.

Hell, there was even a open Beta. So the "Misinformed people" who are review bombing the game cause it isn't what they expected has no one to blame but themselves.

But alright, I am coping and stupid. So how about that if you look at their roadmap, you will see that a Pure PvE Experience is coming in less than 2 weeks.

The Savage Gauntlet is releasing around the 27th of July, in which you do not compete against an enemy team, but rather compete with a time trial.

Also, remember that Beta I talked about, Yeah, people also said they wanted more Co-Op stuff, and CAPCOM LISTENED TO THEM AND ALREADY ADDED A NEW PvE MODE IN THE GAME SINCE THEM. A 10 player Co-Op Boss Level.

To unlock it, just progress forward enough in the story, so just suck it up and play the PvPvE parts until you get it.

The potential for an amazing game is already there. Like they can easily make a PvE horde defense mission because there is already a version of it in the game.

If everyone boycotts the game over their own expectations not being met, this gem of a game will be what everyone says, dead in 2 weeks.

And are we really, REALLY pissing on this game for having micro transactions? As if Overwatch, the most scummiest cash grab game ever also doesn't have any of them? Or any other popular game? We already fed the greedy CEOs at the top, and so Microtransactions are here to stay. No matter how much you and me hate them or not.

ALSO, remember that THE DEVELOPERS NEED TO GET PAID. Marketing, needs to get paid. Everything in the game can't be free. Hell, a big budget game like this probebly can't afford a free release.

Remember, Overwatch only went free to play to safe the dying carcass that was Overwatch 1 and get investors to fund it again.

So please, give the game a shot and stop being misinformed.

The reception for this game is completely justified. Just look at what they're trying to sell for $60.

How do you think Diablo 4 would have done if they launched the game with only one act and you had to grind the same dungeon over and over again to unlock the other classes or pay real money to get them?

Do you think Valorant would have succeeded if it launched with a $60 price tag, one game mode, about 5 characters and promises to do better?

All the flak this game is getting online is absolutely justified because they're selling what should be a F2P game for $60. Just look at the gameplay loop and monetization. Outside of the graphics and decent combat the entire game REEKS of F2P BS.

I bet Exoprimal was originally designed as a F2P game but then someone at Capcom decided to see if they could get away with slapping a $60 price tag on it. Thankfully it seems to have backfired.

Whoever decided this game should be $60 ruined any chance it had at success. This game cannot survive without an active playerbase and it will never achieve a healthy number of active players at the current price. I was honestly willing to give this game a shot until they announced it was $60. I probably would have even paid $20 or $30 because killing dinos with neat mech suits seems like silly fun but for $60? No way. I can't justify paying $60 for a glorified horde brawler where all you do is grind the same map over and over again.

Can you honestly say this game is worth $60 when you could get something like Remnant 2 or Street Fighter 6 for about the same price?

The dumbest thing about this entire launch is we know Capcom can do better considering how good Street Fighter 6 and RE4 Remake are. Like how does a company make such good games for months and then put out something like Exoprimal? I don't understand how they screwed this up so badly.

I'm tired of people trying to sell a roadmap as indication that a game that charges upfront has legs to stand on.

Look at the recent Square Enix cashgrab Chocobo GP and Babylon's Fall that shut down after one year and also came with "roadmaps".

If you are having fun, cool; enjoy the game. But "the potential for an amazing game" to be here, does not sell me a $60+ game. It should already be an amazing game.

The game mode is the most unique thing about it. Attempting to blend PvE and PvP has not been done at ALL in recent memory. It IS the most innovative thing they could have done with this game.

Halo 5 have done it before.

However, I agree that Capcom did take a risky move trying to replicate an EDF main-stream with dinosaur. However, the pricing stacked on top of it with a BP + Cosmetic Purchase and Progress Skip Purchase are not a good combo. Upper management ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up that one. Wich is why people wanted a F2P

Played the last beta, so I kinda understand what Exoprimal was selling, even if most of the trailers failed to do so. That said, hard pass on $60. There's simply not enough content currently to justify the price. I'd need to see what the next update adds to determine if $60 will be eventually justified, but as it stands this is a $30 game.

And for those saying OW was $60, that's the cosmetic bundle. Base game at launch was $40 and had more characters and maps than what Exoprimal has currently. Please get your facts straight.
