well dont buy the battle pass, i very rarely touch battle passes unless i somehow play a game long enough to complete it before even considering buying it

I have never bought battle pass in any game.

And when I see a game with additional stuff locked out at full AAA price that just puts me off.

I will wait when this game goes on 60-70% discount.

With a max pop of only 4000 and an online only game that needs players for sustainability, that won't take long.

Seen this happen may times, either the game shuts down or goes on discount.

game will eventually get a discount, most games do but dont forget the games on multiple platforms so steam charts dont show all the players, plus it is kind of a niche game imo.
but anyways company will always want to make more money from games, as i see it id much rather see a battlepass where you actually see what your paying for then payed loot boxes

There are plenty of games that don't use battlepasses, and others that don't monetize them such as DRG. Otherwise the ones that do are frequently referenced to the ever continuing decline of quality multiplayer games and mmo's.

oh ye there are plenty of games without them, there not great but there the lesser evil in what companys have been doing for years, we no longer live in the age where you buy a game and get everything in the game, pritty sad but thats the state of games now and its never going back to the older ways unless everyone collectively stops supporting these monetisation methods and thats never going to happen

I played in the alpha and wooooo, I wouldn't pay $10 for this piece of ♥♥♥♥. Game is little more than bunch of shooting at a general area because the hitboxes are ridiculous, you don't shoot individual dinosaurs you shoot where the swarm is and it just kills them all.

It's one of the most mindless ridiculously badly made shooters I've ever played. Of course they want full price and a battlepass on top of it.

I think it is happening now.

A lot of of AAA games have flopped this year while a few indie games have seen success.

People are get tired of paying £50 for half a game.

It's more of a $90 game for Australia

i think thats less to do with battlepass's and more to do with just games that seem to be lazily made, im in no way saying this game is great, it has its flaws and could of done with more content at launch but i dont see its monitisation as much of an issue

I picked up a thought... If Gamers stop becoming being introverts for A month and go stand out in the city streets with Crafted or written signs and warn all the part time gamer (including being A Full Time mother/father) about these Current state of Games including FUTURE ones that will Possibly never RETURN to the old ways how games used to be.

Best thought I can think of...

People could put all the research onto a website (got to create one of cause) or Reddit (if that's their only choice) and create a QR Code for people to find their way to the SITE with all the research gathered up along with how Video Games will no longer be the same ever again.
