I will probably end up buying the game on Xbox store if they ever decide it levees the game pass in a year or so.
Assuming its still actively played online.
Because i don't want to start over.
As for the price i think subbing to game pass evry time this game gets a major update is cheaper.
But then again i play other games on game pass too so its worth it to me.
Well a friend wanted to gift me a game for my birthday so I was thinking this, but I wanted to know if there is progression and stuff.
get him to gift you Remnant 2 if you are into those sorts of games.
Many games whit cross play have unique in game IDs isnted of using your platform id so cross play is possible.
Obviously cross progression could also be possible but chances are capcom doesn't want to host servers for the data.
If I do end up having on Steam, then clearly I don't want to continue playing on gamepass
I get a month of gamepass here and there, I don't like paying monthly for that service, because some months I am very busy
I doubt they have to host any "servers" maybe a database instance but that's about it. It's definitely and easily possible to get cross-platform progression to work, but it's very obviously a decision from the executives to capitalize on as many people buying as many licenses as possible.
