Do maps get more open?

I actually am enjoying this game, but feel after my 4th match it's getting a bit repetitive. I read that as you progress through the story the game opens up more, with more game modes. I'm not really interested in investing 40 hours into a game though just to be disappointed so I'd rather just straight up ask, Will the game continue to be simply following the yellow line or do the maps get more open with more variety on where the team has to go?

No. You do objectives faster than then enemy team then move to the next objective area for the rest of the game. There are some big raid-y boss events occasionally that are fun and add some variety, but the maps are basically the same idea. There's the hammer pvp final missions, the data cube payload escort pvp final missions, and control point/energy core pvp final missions. The rest are standard objectives with no pvp.

The game is not supposed to be open, you have a specific area of the map to kill the dinsosaurs. There are boss fights and raids which are different.

well u see more maps, n u also see more of the already seen maps. like, spawn in at different areas n stuff.

by the end u open up the volcano facility map.

its all tied to whether or not u watch the codec call scenes as u unlock em, n if theres other players available who already did ur story missions.

Its a race. And your team mates and the challengers make every match unique.
Come on. CS is repetetiv. Valorant is repetitv. Fastfood is repetetiv. Even being married is repetetiv. The fkn life is a closed repetetiv circle.
But this Exoprimal circle is tons of fun!
