WARNING: Grainy / Granulated / Pixelated Graphics Still A Thing
So for those that were having grainy / granulated / pixelated graphics in the beta tests, be aware that they never fixed the issue, just as it still persists across all modern RE Engine games. Mine isn't as bad as beta, so hopefully it won't make me sick. But it might make the rest of you sick, so just be aware of this going in.

If anyone has a solution, please do share it. There's a known fix for this in games like Street Fighter 6, but that graphics option doesn't exist in this games config despite being the same engine.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti. However, I've also played on a rig with a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 1050 Ti and it has the same exact issue.

I've not seen this problem on my 2070 Super, and I've played all 4 betas and currently on the game pass. Game looks amazing for me. Have you gone through the settings and goofed with em to see if that helps?

No... Despite running on RE Engine, the setting that fixes this in other RE Engine games like Street Fighter 6 doesn't exist for Exoprimal. :lunar2019deadpanpig:

So, someone in the Discord installed the game pass version since they were having this problem on Steam, and it somehow isn't an issue there... Same exact rig, same exact game, same exact settings, just on a different platform. Seriously, Capcom? This is insane.

is this caused by blurry graphics + sharpening filter, that's pretty common in games nowadays

No, it's unlike any non RE Engine game. And like I just said, someone already tried installing it on two platforms, and their games look completely different from one another despite being on the same rig, on the same game, using the same settings.

I just started playing and I CAN SEE THE SHARPENING FILTER lmfao. The problem is that there is an aggressive sharpening filter with no option to turn it off that I can find. The graphics look terrible. This is hilarious and the developers need to fix it. Either turn it down or remove it or allow it to be turned off.

Yup... FSR 2 set to Quality and 1.0 Sharpening helps clean some of it up, but it's still one of the worst looking games I've ever seen in over three decades of gaming for its time just because it's such a pixelated mess that legit makes some people physically ill.

I genuinely don't know how it's this grainy for you and some other users - I'm rocking a 2070s and you see how in those pictures the grain is super obvious on the walls? It does NOT look like that in my game, and I'm using no upscaling. Is your AA setting on or off?

I made a support request to turn off this ♥♥♥♥. I am going to run it on low until then because the graphics look terrible anyway.
