Mullet Mad jack ripped off this game?

I smell a new genre and I'm all for it. Personally if you really want to throw out "rip off" accusations, Mullet Mad Jack has far more in common with Force Reboot, a game inspired by Post Void. Both games are building on the framework Post Void has put in place, and it's IMO one of the fresher more solid frameworks I've seen in recent boomer shooters.

it just goes more and more to show that mullet mad jack seems to not have any original ideas, weather it be from post void or force reboot

Mullet Mad Jack seems to have a lot of ideas to bring to the table.
I definitely suspect it to be "inspired" by Post Void though. I wouldn't be surprised if Post Void birthed a new subgenre.

This is the way I see it. I've started calling em "boomer bites", since they're essentially bite sized speed running boomer shooter rogue lites, it's easier to say than a list of genres they take elements from.

I'm the dev of mullet, without post void mullet will not be this way, the idea is really expand the framework. I met the devs of post void at gamescom, they liked us and helped us to make the game even faster with their feedback. These devs are very good people and deserve your support forever. I think Post void launched a new sub genre and post void devs agreed with me when i tell then this. Everyone call everything "doom clones" before the genre is called FPS, so this sub-genre need a name. A youtuber called it "zoomer shooter" and i find hilarious. But can be void-likes, post void devs deserve all the recognition.

imo, mullet madjack is definetly a refinement of post void
not to say it's better tho, the whole game is really grungy and it is a vibe

I played the demo. Barely compares to post void in anything except the most fundamental aspects like the countdown death. They're adjacent, I guess. I liked it for different reasons.

Post void is basically the 1st draft of a thesis you wrote while on enough bathsalts to kill a rhino.

Mullet mad jack is the revised draft after a month of sobriety. More weight, more coherent, but ultimately having to clean up its nonsensical thousand-heartbeats-per-second zeltgeist that made it special in the first place.

Hopefully Mullet Mad Jack is actually good. Liked the demo alone a billion times more than anything in Post Void.
