Top wish? No Ava

Just memoryhole that waste of pixels. Out of BL3 too while you at it.

Second wish? Unlockable past vault hunters, ie. BL1-3, TPS ones. Maybe each for cash, maybe own their game and finish playthrough with them.

There's really no question, after her whole Siren setup in BL3, that Ava will be a playable character, so all discussion about her on these august forums should take that into account, and be geared toward asking "What do you want Ava's abilities to be in Borderlands 4?"

That being established -- I want one of Ava's abilities to be able to split into (up to) 5 Avas, all talking at once. Also she has a pet wisecracking CL4P-TP.

I really think they need to just scrap the original characters and come up with new ones.

We already know that Lilith is in 4. That's enough. And I hope the new characters don't look weird like the ones in 3 did.

I hated Ava with a passion up to the point in which they released the DLC with all the backstory and removed cutscenes. The cutscene of the funeral ingame was horrible but the removed one in my opinion redeemed Ava (Still cant forgive her for killing Maya though.)

All of the characters they created in 3 were annoying. But, yes, I have no idea how the script for Ava survived. I can't think how the "team" thought she was anything other than seriously horrid.

The sense of humour was way off on BL3 too.

I don't know. They must be aware that the fans hate her. Obviously there will be four new characters, and I am assuming that the siren will not be Ava. She could well play a part, but they might keep it small.
We know that Lilith is in the new story, but beyond that we know nothing.

No Ava, no Twitch commentators for "main antagonists." They were all just wet blankets of characters with abysmal writing and dialogue, more so than the rest of the game even. They could literally be replaced by any other person and no one would be able to tell the difference, that's how little identity they had.

Replace whoever the twins were with any random enemies in the game and give the the same tattoos and you wouldn't be able to pick the real ones out of a lineup. I beat the game twice and I still don't even remember their names, or whether or not they died by the end of the game. Despite, I think, one of them being the last boss, I still don't remember.

That'd make a hilarious mod or game show challenge, actually. Remove the voice lines from the Twins, but I guess leave subtitles on if you're a sadist, and have someone play through the game, that has never played it, ten times, and the character models for the twins change with every playthrough. Make them guess which ones at the end are actually the twins. I doubt anyone would get it, ever.

Also, less than "BILLIONS" of guns. Too many item mods. Infinite possibility is kind of awful. Look at Diablo 4, if we loved a billion item mods, then "LOOT 2.0 PLAY OUR GAME, PLEASE" wouldn't exist.

Also, Randy Pitchford needs to have 0% involvement with the game. (This post was about wishing for things, right?)

Honestly I wouldn't care if they left out Tina as well, she hasn't really developed much if at all even being older, she comes of exactly the same.

Make her a playable character so we can ignore her and not play her

This and more importantly the new main villian(s) should set a good base atmosphere/mood to the game.
They should display power in a way the VHs feel it right away threatening & constantly the whole game without too much talking like the emo twins (calypso like) toilet jokes echo comms.
