Another DLC turned into a full game

I said what I said, showcase at Game Awards was ._. mid as hell if not down right disappointing. Game looks like a DLC to BL3.

Hopefully that all changes but I highly doubt. Thoughts?

the graphics look similar because of the artstyle, even borderlands 1 looks the same as borderlands 4, but its still a game on its own in terms of content and story, not a dlc

Agreed give us Outrider type graphics.. then with the gameplay, co-op and those graphics, it would be a top-tier game

It really doesn't look like a DLC, there's a ton of graphical overhauls, namely that textures and assets shown in the trailer have depth, something they didn't in BL3 where every surface was flat. The color palette is different, the lighting is improved, the model polygon quality is drastically improved, animation seems to be improved though this will need more shown to confirm, there's new weapon types and more variety and so on.
The only thing that's similar in that trailer is the art style, the game is not even made on the same version of Unreal Engine.
