While true, it's not like the market is full of games that can "scratch that itch".
Same goes for Monster Hunter series. Only God Eater was similar and it's dead.
and the god eater games' ai custom companions are quite smart in combat and i love their english mid combat banters from their unique personality sets. still having lots of fun with my custom made gaige look alike god eater 2+3 character, hunting aragamis with cool stylish moves of giant hammer/chainsaw+huge shotgun+rifle+cannon combos.
i wish borderlands could go on the route like monster hunter games with more support for decent custom ai companions. hireable merc vault hunters characters concept and all that like diablo games.
