Import custom models/Where to find more models?

In the steam store page description it says we can import local custom models. Where could I find models online besides the steam workshop? There aren't that many choices on the workshop as of now.

I downloaded VRoid, found it kinda easy, and made a model. In order to use it, do I have to upload it to the workshop, then download it or is there a folder where I can just drop the OG file and use it?

For VRoid can I only make models, or can I use stuff others make?

Vroid is connected to a special section of Pixiv, Vroid Creators can upload their creations to Pixiv. I think you need an account for that, not sure. there's also other stuff that I thought were 3d items to add to Vroid, but don't know how to add it. Another cool thing is Vroid is ALSO connected to a variety of programs to apply your models to, like games and apps. There's a fighting game, and adventure game, there's also an applicator for VR Chat I think. It's pretty nice.
