CD Key Not Found????

Welp, I decided to play this game after umm.....well lets just say a very long time. It asked me to create a CD project red account. I did that, tried to play this game and got an error CD key not found. Well as this being a FREE GAME, there won't be one. My guess is that something with Steam and the launcher isn't working right? I've seen other people having this issue as far back as 2017.

it worked: downloaded GOG Galaxy and added gwent to the library (and installed it in another place on the computer, but in the end did not finish downloading, because it worked in steam), apparently, this action gave the desired "license key"

Could Not Connect

Hi,

I'm trying Gwent for the first time, and I'm encountering this error:

"Login failed, no license key detected."

I've searched everywhere but couldn’t find a solution.

when I open the game and it starts, I can't play it because the game pops up a window saying that I don't have a license key

License key issue

Just downloaded the game yesterday and it fails to go past the title screen due to 'No License Key Detected'. It's free to play so assuming this is a bug, seeing lots of recent negative reviews on the steam store as well.

Any workarounds until its patched?

Afaik the game is FTP. You can try playing it on GOG or download it on phone. For me it works on all three platforms.

Just found out how to fix this. If you log in to gog through your browser then search for gwent in the store. Before you click on gwent though hover over it and add it to your cart instead. Then checkout and it will add it to your gog account so you have a key on steam
