The real decay of gwent
Hi, i've been playing gwent from almost the beginning (usually in my phone) and I had seen it all. I played against almost every deck and have almost all cards. I'm not saying that i know it all because i only reached rank 7, that's mainly because I do not play that much, not even all weeks. I had my doubts about keep playing once the developers left the game, but I love so much this game that here I am.
I'm a person that love trying to know and understand exactly what I'm doing and trying to do, so I spend A LOT of time in deckbuilding, usually create a deck with a keyword or some kind of synergy and spend matchs and time in deckbuilding trying to perfectionate. All the decks that I use are creations of mine and despite not all of them are competitive in high ranks they have a lot of time invested and are 100% original. So here is my real anger, the reason why I'm writing all these. I do no ask for all the people that do what I do with decks, but man is so annoying that from rank 12 to rank 7 (so far my max) people use decks that they get from internet that are extremely overpowered for absurd synergies that the developers didn't think it with that in mind or use some exploits, is not fair man...
Here is my point of view of the situation, Gwent is a game without a head that with the pass of time will die slowly and only the ones that love the game and how unique is will keep on with the playing a couple of years more. Why do you have to use that kind of decks in so low ranks? I understand it in the high ranks (+3) but it do not have any sense, I repeat it, is a dying game not a top trending competitive game.

In order to reach rank 3+ you have to win, using a meta deck increases the chances of winning. You said yourself you haven’t surpassed rank 7.

I have been playing for about two years, I have all of the cards. I still lose games using meta decks.

Every CCG has a meta that shifts. It’s up to you to make decks your own way, most players understand the chances of reaching higher ranks is lower with unique decks
The game is balanced, I was a former Yu Gi Oh player, moved here, cause its balanced and people are not toxic, unlike Yu Gi Oh players, that being said, I still auto forfeit whenever I see a coin deck, im not gonna bother doing all that planning, knowing someone can just pay their way without much strategy behind it.

Define a coin deck?

Unless you’re referring to syndicate specifically anyone can get all cards with enough time played and this game has been around for more than enough time

Yeah I'm talking about meta decks, that's the name, is absurd that you have to use that kind of desk in such lower tiers (7 is not a high tier but 12 is quite low). It have no sense because you have to keep on playing that deck the rest of your life because clearly you can't pass rank 20 without a deck made for rank 1. I have decks of almost every faction with all the provision cost used up, with all the legendaries and epics cards that requiere and with a lot of time in deckbuilding, some of them had got old or was made before some news cards, nerfed, unusable for provision cost, here a quick list.
-Syndicate: Gang/crime, Firesworm, Bounty keyword
-Scoia Tael: -Elves with and without traps, Harmony keyword, Spells
-Northern Realms: Siege engines, Soldiers, Knights, Mix up soldiers with knight, boost and shields (one of the actuals, https://prnt.sc/UbcwwQP7N8X0)
-Monsters (all olds): Vampires, Deathwish keyword
-Skellige (one of my favs): Warriors, Rain with beast, rain with cultist, Witcher (mostly neutral honestly), Alchemy keyword (not my fav but the most competitive and versatile without a doubt, https://prnt.sc/aTdeC5Fdb5Md)
-Nilfgard: I didn't and won't play nilfgard, is disgust me and the only deck that I respect is the one that play/create with your cards.
So... I think that having almost every card and a couple of years in the game I know what I'm talking about. I don't care reach higers ranks if that means play meta decks, but is not fear the people that get stuck in my ranks with that decks and you have to play them, are like 40% of my games and to affirmate my hate to nilfgard, like 30% of my games are against them haha.
Syndicate decks are extremely fun and hard to balance the gain/spend of the coins. You only said that because you never tried to create a syndicate deck that is actually kinda competitive in +15/10 ranks.

and that's a false assumption.

i said syndicate because that faction uses coins and would be an understandable definition of coin deck. what i believe the Asian person is reffering to is a bought netdeck. in which my explanation is fairly straight forward, it's a time spent thing.

I was talking to the man that said what I repeated, that the syndicate decks are easy and broken.

Neither of us know for sure if they mean syndicate or P2play

I think that he was talking about syndicate faction because in gwent you can invest all the money that you want but that after the first deck will no make the difference.
