Single player?

Is there a solid single player campaign, or is it heavy PVP based like Hearthstone or the new MTG?

Gwent is multiplayer with the option of playing against AI, but I wouldn't count that as singleplayer.

I just stuck my head in here with the same question because I totally loved Thronebreaker and wanted more of the same. If you haven't played TB and you like SP games, definitely given it a try. The campaign is really good.

Besides Thronebreaker, there is currently no other story mode Gwent. I think they should make an expansion storymode sort of like what Hearthstone has done. In fact a few cards from my understand were related to an originally planned story mode, though it was scrapped for some reason.

Nope, its a free to play game with no budget, of course It won't have single player.

I would love to play thronebreaker if it had the same awesome card animations that this game has it really is a step up this one. I just don't like pvp games :(

Me, too. Thronebreaker was amazing, but I bounced off Gwent pretty quickly because I can't relax while playing PvP.

Try playing the Meta decks to get used to the game before building your own. Playing a Tier 1 list will give you consistent wins and teach you the philosophy of the game without having to reinvent the wheel.
