Beginner Questions
Greetings , I started playing gwent some days ago and i really like it, but
I have some stupid questions, maybe someone can answer them.

I enjoy the monster faction the most , right now I play the starter deck with some minor upgrades.

Which legendary should I craft first? And should I keep buying monster kegs until I have most legendary's ?

Most of the time I just get the same rare cards over and over, so it kind of feels like wasted ore.

But I miss almost every legendary monster card.
So i don't know if it's better and start buying other faction kegs and try to craft the missing legendary's.

Focus on one faction first, get at least 1 strong deck before diluting yourself building the other factions. It will make it easier, going forward.

As far as which legendary you should craft first, figure out the type of deck you want to build, first. The official forums likely have some good tips, I haven't the patience to really get into typing it all up lol

gl to you, and don't get discouraged when you start facing meta decks; patience will see you through.

On top of what Dhaunas has said you should also complete the beginner's faction tree for monsters as it will give you some gold cards. The beginner faction trees are found in the blue tab in "Rewards".

Also this Google spreadsheet will help you spend your reward keys as efficiently as possible (i.e. the most ore rewards for the fewest keys spent): https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/15O7TL1NPNliouDGCu-IK7Kw7OkFZ9VLxzI4wfJd5u1g/edit#gid=0

@darth joules.
fresh accounts are forced to do these. all other reward trees are locked until at least 1 of these faction trees is completed.

since noone digged into your question thus far.
you are right it makes no sense to keep digging into a single faction even tho you are still missing epics n legys.
once you have all commons and rares, as well as ~50% epics.
you should think about a second faction or neutral kegs.
the pro bout neutral is you get more divercity into you faction.
monsters like the neutral tutor cards for viy, the megascope for relics, ciri nova n golden nekker since everybody does, ...

Thank you, that's what I wanted to know. I played Mtg arena before gwent and I am not used to have all the rares after a couple of packs lmao.

I still have another question, it's not important, but why does the monster starter deck has old speartip asleep in it ?

Since you don't get old speartip from the monster tree it makes no sense , it took me a couple of games before I realized that this card does nothing.

Overall, the starter deck feels really outdated and that you get matched against people with strong meta decks even in the lowest rank doesn't make it better.

The Old Speartip cards were reworked some time ago; previously, they were just flat points (Veil on one of them) with no ability.

Sounds like the starter deck could use updating.

Is the combo actually worth it ? old speartip is a legendary and I don't want to waste the scrap.

It really feels that they somehow forget to give old speartip as a tree reward.

The Speartip conbo is used for thinning your deck so long as Speartip Asleep doesn't get locked. The combo is good in Keltulis decks and decks that prefer a short R3 where you play Ozrel for a big 19 point slam.
