This black screen thing is s***
I did everything in every single post in this regard. Seriously not getting how this can STILL be a problem. I uninstalled. Anyone with some fresh advice on what to do? I disabled AV, updated everything, removed all overlays, reinstalled game, reinstalled steam, reinstalled graphics drivers.

Have you tried running the game in windowed mode? That sometimes fixes black screen issues with some games.

I am afraid so. I did absolutely everything I have been able to find as a fix. Still get black screen. DirectX up to date, GPU drivers etc. tried repair, reinstall, check files, run as admin. Nothing seems to work.

Hmm, I'm on Win10 too and have no such problems. Have you tried setting your monitor to a smaller resolution? There is also this:

It sounds like either something is missing for the game to run or something is interfering with the game.
