Playing 2 Gold Cards Of Exact Card?

Just happened to me someone played the same gold Yen card on first and second round.
They did not summon it from graveyard? How is this possible, is this a cheater?

Someone played the exact same gold card twice, what more is needed?

I tried to make a deck with both of that same gold card and only 1 of each card is allowed so obviously something seemed wrong and I was winning on 2nd round so nothing about losing.

So i may be wrong but I see no way to add 2 gold cards of same card and wondering is there anyway to play the exact same gold card in a match?

You should check the left side of the screen (the small icon in middle left screen) there is shown how he made this card. Its seems he did use Caranthir Ar-Feiniel to make a second Yen. His effect are Deploy: Spawn a 1-power base copy of a unit from your hand in this row.

Ok I still don't understand like he crafted it with his leader ability or a card he drew? So there is a way to play 2 same gold cards alright thanks was confused about how this happened but will have to look into how that is done and pay more attention

The last card in his graveyard is Caranthir which do Deploy: Spawn a 1-power base copy of a unit from your hand in this row. So he had a Yen in hand and Caranthir, then he did a copy of yen with him. you killed that yen and he played second yen from hand. The first one was 1 hp right?

edit: you will see a lot more of Caranthir in later ranks. Monsters players love him.

Yeah I believe so she was 1 hp on first round. Ok ty again for clearing up confusion I never seen that happen or can't even think if I ever seen 2 of same gold card played, so had to make sure was legit.

I see now plus just about all his cards where gold so makes sense he drew yen again, good move right there.
