Keep an eye on TLG for Meta decks: https://teamleviathangaming.com/meta/. Similarly, check out Team Elderblood and Team Aretuza too.
If you're new, give this guide a read to understand how to start playing the game with sources to learn from https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2102870819
But if you follow some youtube streamers it's better than website because they built decks and show you how use that cards
"McBeard" for example, is a guy I follow his clips
One shouldn't play games impatiently, if one's not on fisstech..
"Discipline, that is what you folks lack". "Aven't seen a fuse layin' about have ya?".
Is ore just for buying kegs and stuff? As a new player what is the first thing I should buy with my resources? I read something that said if i prestige then all the kegs have 2 rares so wouldnt it make sense to NEVER buy a keg until i prestige? how do i prestige?
Yes you are right, when you reach prestige 1 each keg will have 2 rares. But don't save all your ores until prestige 1 as that will take a really long time. It took me around 100 hours to reach prestige 1.
Find a faction that you like. And buy kegs for that specific faction. If you like monsters, buy monster kegs. You will reach a point that almost every keg will have duplicates. So then start buying expansion kegs which will have cards for the faction you use. If you think you reached a point that you have almost every card you want for that faction then you can save your ores until you reach prestige 1. But don't start saving until you are sure you have everything you need.
Also play only ranked. Unranked doesn't have matchmaking so you will have to play with people above your level and who have a much better collection that yours.
That's pretty much everything you need to know. Have fun.
Ore is just for buying kegs and stuff, also each time you build a deck for "Arena" you must enter a fee (ore or real money)
For prestige I must say in top of the screen( Left side) you see your profile name and three icon: a flag, a shield and a tower; each one have a number. The number on the flag is your level, when you reach 61 your level is reset to 1 and you also got a prestige. Each time you reach level 61 you get another prestige, that's how it works
thank you for the information, I will find a archetype that i like then buy kegs for them. So far I have been playing the northern people and using vicious slash because it was the easiest to understand, do 8 damage, very easy to understand. some of the other abilities are like do this and this and im like idk what that really means lol
reza
wow ok im only level 6, its going to be a long time before i prestige!
You must do tasks in order (first week 1 and then week 2...) and if you buy premium pass you can earn premium rewards too. It's an easy way to get more points to unlock rewards from rewards book
Also for the rewards book that leader rewards are just skins for characters nothing more, you can add each one you like
As for spending reward points (little keys) the most optimal route is to spend them first in faction tree of your choice as you will get faction kegs, ore and scraps from this. Also important tip is to try to get all 4 scrolls in a tree as each one is worth more than the one before, so fro first scroll you get 200 ore and last one is worth 500 ore. When you get collection of cards that feels right you could go for cosmetics that you like, there are leader skins, board skin and cardbacks.
As for journey you need to do quest in order. Weekly tasks give you the most crown points toward the progress, but you also get 14 bonus crowns (for each you earn in a match you get one more up to 14 every day). If you don't have premium juorney just try to complete dandelion quests as geralt ones don't give you crowns untill you buy premium.
Other than that focus on buying kegs from yours chosen faction, when you get sizable collection of that faction you could switch to another one or buy "expansion" and basic set kegs to get neutrals and cards from other factions. Remember that faction kegs (so Norther realms kegs, monster kegs etc.) contain cards from every expansion.
