What game modes are there?

What game modes are in this game?
Are there any co-op, 2v2, or PvE modes that can be played (and help progress ones collection)?
I don't mind spending money on a game, but I am not a PvP'er, so if PvP is the only thing the game has going for it I'm thinking my money is better spent elsewhere

Hey, welcome!

The current game modes are: classic ranked, classic casual, seasonal (a game mode where the rules change each month), and arena (draft). Tournament modes are coming in the near future.

For PVE check out Thronebreaker on steam, currently £8 and gives you a bunch of rewards in Gwent.

Gwent is primariliy PvP, so I would say it's not for you.
However, if you like the concept, you might find this interesting

There is no co-op though you can play against your friends. If you want a PVE game, I recommend Thronebreaker.

Gwent is a casual/competitive 1v1 CCG.

again, even tho I love thronebreaker and I think you should experience it if you played witcher games, mind that tb gwent gameplay is mostly puzzles.
