Would a crafting rework be in the works someday? That's really the one thing that keeps me away from Guild Wars 2 .

I'm sorry to tell you, while completionism is great and a lot of people enjoy it, they still are the minority in most games. You can't possibly expect the game to be centred around you, there's other players too who aren't competitionists and who want it more "convoluted" as you say because it provides options. It's not realistic to expect devs to shape games for completionism only, because that would alienate a lot of other folks, especially the more casual ones. Although, considering how many people don't even use crafting, it's kinnda a complex topic in itself as to in what direction it should be heading, but the only thing we can do anyway is wait and time will tell what they'll do with it in the future

Never did I say I wanted the game to be centered around me, I merely asked for something that would make the game more enjoyable for me personally. Aren't we all here to enjoy the game after all?
