Also, though the skin itself is gorgeous, its animations are.. lacking. It looks too static when it runs and jumps, in particular, these feathers could flap on the wind more, and flutter more when it turns or stops abruptly. And if you use its engagement skill it does the same thing as the original lizard, but now it looks super awkward when it's a bird, it could use its own unique egagement animation, may be it should peck repeatedly while flapping its wings, or something, instead of that spin it does.
You really expect to see more soul put into premium skins like that, otherwise it disincentivizes further purchases.
sigma nuts
I mean the skin variety is like mount variety. Like calling - there are no mounts in world of warcraft because 300 mounts have the same functions.. i know they are skins - but it's mmorpg that need variety of this type of stuff and it grants success of the game. Variety of transmog, mounts, pets and being able to collect stuff. As a small part of the playing long term mmorpg. That's why there's no any mmo that take wow from it's throne in fun and in long term playability. Players have a tons of stuff to collect and people who like different vibes can spent more time to collect whatever they want to make they "power fantasy" true and increase immersion of the fantasy they are doing.
It's basically a huge step forward and a gift by Anet to their users. So it's pretty funny to hear somebody responding to it by "you gave us too little free crap we actually are supposed to buy from you" lol. You want "unlock" more crap "for free" - play the games that charge you monthly then, that's their commercial model. You should be grateful you get so much from Anet for free already.
