GW2 never had official controller support and there is no words on planning to implement it unfortunately.
You can wait a bit when the game released on Steam and then explore some Controller Configurations from the community.
However many Configurations from the community dont work professionally and need some extra work.
Guild Wars 2 does feature 2 combat systems. Classic Tab-Target and modern action combat.
I personally prefer action combat systems on controller and they are far more easy to configurate to your likings.
I have already bought all the xpacks, why would I rebuy them all again and make a new account on steam? It dosnt make any sense.
It may make sense for a game that's a year or so old.. but not for one that's 10 yrs old. Most people have already heard of GW2.. how many fresh new people you think are out there ? Lol
played gw2 many years ago, never bought extensions, and a friend never tried it, so we plan to play at 3 friends from scratch, without this 'no link old account" we probably didnt got this plan :)
