Well I think its a smart move to create a 50 player convergence mode instead of requiring players to just do a 10 man raid. I would much rather do it in a large scale battle with a lot of players than a small scale mode. But I am glad that both of these will help with both current and future Legendary's.

Maybe it's possible to do the same for the current raids now? Allow a 50 player mode? I don't know, just thinking about allowing players that don't want to do the 10 man get the older legendary armor more accessible to them while experiencing a story they've never played before. I know I haven't.

That's a really good idea, I agree! Especially considering that they themselves say that not many people are doing raids

The game is 11yrs old, it has graphics from it's launch time. WoW has had some graphical updates, but it still looks older than GW2, so I am not sure what point you are making.

In terms of player population GW2 is doing pretty well right now. While nothing will beat the first year after launch, GW2 hit a new post HoT peak after SotO launched. The game is doing well and is far from dead.

But then again I still play PSO:BB which is a dead game and can easily get groups together still so does it really matter?

Unfortunately ANet hardly ever goes back to old content to update it with new cool designs.

But maybe, just maybe, if this works really, really well, they'll have no other choice.

So get in the game and raid like hell.

Great. Now give GW2 full controller support.

I would be happy if you focus your ressources elswhere than raids.

They are cool in other game but i don't interact with them since the people who do them are usually annoying, don't look up guides etc ...
I'm fine if y'all drop raids and focus on PVE / open world.
Like you said, a small pecentage of the game does them and i always tell people not to do them anyways since it's mostly 2-3 hours lost if you don't have a proper guild etc and i rather play wow / FFXIV for instanced content.
I have way more fun in the open world doing events and ♥♥♥♥ than another boring ass raids, like we have enough with other MMO, please don't do like them.

Please, abandon raids !

We get a new Warclaw and after years of salt and pain u finally found a way to get casual players in to raids. and hey, we get a new riad.. But, WHY DONT YOU STOP THE BLOODY WvW BETA! Get your ideas fixed and stop making the teambuilding experience to the worst in MMO history! Try checking out some of the YouTube videos about it, apparently it's possible to set it up.
I'm no expert and I don't use it myself, so I can't say for sure if it's good, but it does appear to be possible & legit:)
