i mean most of the top mmorpgs are updating their engine to todays standards
at least theyre doing something.
Eso for example vastly improved performance, added dlss etc.
FF14 updated a few things too with dawntrail.
The only game that is barely doing anything is gw2 in those regards.
DirectX 11 was the only improvement, but it still runs pretty bad (for example end of dragons maps dropping the frames easily)
The textures sometimes look awful
that being said...gw2 is the only game where we know that gw3 is coming
so i dont expect them to do much to make gw2 better (maybe its not even worth)
not to mention that even lotro had (it got axed) a remaster update on the roadmap
