It resets in a few days so now is a great time if you haven't been doing it.
You can get 90 gold for 6 AA each and then do that again when it refreshes (which is quarterly).
Essentially make 180 gold for maybe 8 - 10 hours of doing stuff in game.
After that you can get it for 1 gold per 35 AA.
You can do that.
If you want to avoid Season 2 areas and Fractals, you can still farm money in other ways.
Possible, but it will take a bit... Here are some options you can do over time- please don't burn out doing these.
Silverwastes: A level 80 zone, in a group, doing "RIBA." Look it up- you will make people happier knowing how to work the zone for profit. You can earn 15-20G hourly, which isn't an amazing pace, but it's pretty easy.
Hard world bosses: Tequatl the Sunless gives 2 gold daily upon defeat. Must be done in a squad.
Wizard's Vault: Every 'season' which is quarterly, you can purchase gold pieces at a cheaper rate than the infinitely purchasable money bag which grants the same amount of gold. Doing dailies and weeklies unlocked at level 80 earns you acclaim which you can spend on items in the vault.
Tier 1 fractals: I will not be recommending fractals despite the potential for money for you, as players will expect you to be geared and have an elite specialization unlocked most of the time, which would require you to skip LW2 and go to Heart of Thorns / Path of Fire / End of Dragons to unlock them.
If you care about story and lore, you should do dungeons apart form the other stuff suggested (if you can find a group, or create your own). Not super profitable, but it gives some gold and their story runs in paralell to the core one. Also a decent way to start gearing up.
Also, if you are so presured for in-game cash you should consider selling materials in the Black Lion thing, I usually prefer to hoard a basic quantity, but in your case it may be worth selling.
Be aware the the price of gems fluctuate (usually they tend to go up) and there are rare sales of Living world seasons in the gamestore.
Beyond that, waiting for a sale is highly recommended. I'm not talking about a real money sale, but waiting until the living worlds are discounted (expect 20%, probably in the next week) will affect how much gold you would need to get.
I'm not sure how interested you are in the story, but Living World Season (LWS) 4 offers both mounts and a fairly lucrative option with volatile magic. 5/6 of the home nodes from LWS4 repay themselves in 150 days or less. Icebrood Saga (IBS) would be LWS5 and at least gives access to very lucrative strikes. If you like Tequatl, this is probably useful. It also has several chests that fast farming lists as highly lucrative parking spots.
LWS4 gives access to mounts as well, but again if you just want to play the story in order, it is totally understandable. As you get more parts of the game, you should be able to choose what you want to do with your time based on what you enjoy. It's an MMO, but it's more about daily/weekly/seasonal timegates than grinding.
