PLEASE, never do another Skyscale level unlock again

I just hit the part after grabbing the eggs. Christ is it a chore. Like I understand, it's a dragon mount that lets you fly around and around enemies... but ♥♥♥♥ me is this tedious

I mean, at least with all that work the reward is account wipe unlock and nothing extra, like having to feed it or anything hahaha!

Don't worry, both of the flying mounts are worth the pain you go through in the end.

I really like those very long collections. I often just do them because I like doing them, not because of the reward. The skyscale itself did never fet that great to me, mostly just a replacement for the springer. For flying in general the griffon is way better.

Most people never use the Griffon after they get SkyScale unfortunately, and it kinda shows in the maps. Yes Griffon is fun and the races are great...but for flying in general I would pick SkyScale above Griffon I think. Griffon is the Exotic, SkyScale is basically a legendary mount imo. It opens the game up and it changes how you play drastically, like the HoT maps. You get a lot of control in the air, and maybe that's why people like it so much. Griffon requires more skill to master, which I personally love...but it does force you more to "get gut" haha. Get both. They are a blast m8!

For me it was giving the medicine to the Skyscale that was more infuriating because they aren't labeled unlike the eggs. So it was a mad search trying to find them with no context other than the general area. However the egg side quest is atrocious lol.

The nice thing about the skyscale is it doesn't cost much money, just a lot of time (the griffon is the inverse), and it is definitely worth the effort if you play a lot. If you are more casual though, you lose out on very little by skipping it, so feel free.

Yes it was beyond a joke and tedious.. I had to use a guide and i'm so glad i never have to deal with it again, its not even that great of a mount.

It took me only 4 days to start LWS 4 to getting skyscale. I don't know what the fuss is.

Only thing I found tedious was the repetition of same type of gameplay and areas multiple times.

Yeah i dont do any of that ♥♥♥♥, The busy work in this game is mostly bollocks Ive played GW/GW 2 so long i know all there little tricks

Use TacO add on it will make your Skyscale questing faster. Got mine within 4 days.
