Infinite Volatile Magic Gathering Tools worth it?
As the title says, I'm wondering if they're worth it. They're currently on sale for 2160 gems, rather than 2700.

As many times as it takes you to understand that it depends on how often the player uses them. I provided the data to figure that out. too. So, it's not a fact, it's your opinion.
100k mining strikes just to break even per tool. The game will shut down before a player hits that after buying them. Avoid being obtuse: you picked an argument on a subject you knew the answer to. Imagine that...

You seem to forget that it's not always about the profit. Do I get back the amount of energy I put into farming tools? No, but I enjoy running around and just picking up things without having to worry about my tools. Do I gain anything from it? Yes. Statisfaction.

Now imagine someone who enjoys farming raw materials. You wouldn't do it, that's obvious, but imagine that you are not the epitome of excellence that other players should measure themselves against. Imagine that.

I expressed an opinion. You presented yours as facts. That is the reason I picked an argument with you, in case you are still wondering.

Considering how long that it takes to go through a stack of tools? No, but it's up to you.

You won't have to concern yourself with having to re-up on your tools, so I'd get it if you went that route. Personally, I just buy more tools when mine are running low.

Which goes back to what i specifically said " they're not gonna make you any kind of money."
Until they give infinite tools the legendary armoury treatment, the convenience goes out the window. You'd need to buy 3 shared slots to swap them between characters, and even then you have a bunch of extra clicking to do.

The benefit just doesn't outweigh the cost and inconvenience of swapping.
Only if I don't main a character, which I do.

basically op, if you want them and think the convenience of having them is worth it, get them. ultimately they're another cosmetic; I have the spirits of the wild set because I just like how they look, I don't care if I never break even on an equivalent ingame amount, I'm an adult with a job lol

You seem to forget that i'm specifically talking about the profit right there.

Infinite tools are for convenience only. You will never "pay" for them but it is really nice not having to bother buying and equipping tools. Being able to use glyphs is also an bonus. BTW, if you are doing achievements that call for volatile magic then you will love the vm glyph. Once you finish with needing vm for a while, just get a new glyph that you will find useful and swap it out, Put the vm one in the bank and you are good to go.
