u have limited mount for 10h, do i need unlock all waypoint first so can teleport later or play normaly?

you unlock waypoints yes, that's how everyone used to travel back then from 2013 to 2017 before mounts were a thing in this game. but you dont have to unlock all at once u do that by just playing the game, having an adventure, discovering places etc completing the maps.

Mounts were first introduced with the second expansion. This is why especially in the core maps there are so extremely many waypoints everywhere that you don't have to walk too far to get anywhere on the map if you have all waypoints on that map. And I really dislike them giving out that 10h trial mount as it makes new players get used to it before taking it away again, urging them to buy an expansion.


Also, you can get anywhere in the core game without mounts. Only the expansions once mounts were introduced require mounts for you to get everywhere in them. The core game is all built balanced without mounts in mind. So there they are a mere QoL feature but no requirement.

Really consider the amount of time you will waste walking around. Then calculate the amount of money you will spend on this. Your talking about 1000 hours of the least fun parts of any game then your looking at around $1,000 dollars for all the quality of life improvements you will need. By the time you sink all this in you will realize you wasted multiple years of your life doing tedious task purposefully placed in the game to get you to buy QOL items. I would wait until a GW3 comes out before starting a brand new account.

LOL Holy bad advice!! The OP is obviously new so the chance of him having a lvl 80 toon are quite slim. I would love to see this guy take your advice and go to the Orr maps and try to open the wps.

Go to Lion's arch and open/discover the gate hub so you can teleport to all the cities and a few other places. At each city, I think the starter area wp is already open. Then just progress normally. Start by completing each starter area and cities.

What QQL cost you 1000$ ? Most people only spend money on fasion and endless worktools. Unless you spend those money just to get full legendary then you wasted your money since full legendary only gives you the ability to stats change and nothing els. Thats a big waste of money just for a small upgrade.
