Guildwars 2 Just Pure Garbage now in 2025

Recovering from the Flu and nothing to do so I decided to go into WvW and observe things again. What I noticed is, the "Stat Padding" and program based Macros have completely consumed WvW. Ninety percent of the players are now running around so jacked up on the stats, you can't deal damage to them at all.

To test this, I caught a number of players off guard with zero Boons. My Ranger is Berzerk, so when I catch some like that off guard, they can't do anything because of the "CC" that freezes them and it's over. These players I caught of guard, even while lying on the ground being destroyed, they barely lost any health at all and that's a clear sign of stats being jacked up way beyond the normal.

A Zerg, not even quite mid size, is killing everybody because they basically one hit killing and even when 10 people gang up on one of their guys, that player takes little to no damage.

I'm sorry Cheaters, but that's all she wrote. That level of cheating is completely game breaking and WvW is so boring now and not worth the time and effort anymore. Guildwars 2 is the worst MMORPG on the market right now and it's thanks to both client and server side cheaters.

Unless you want to be a rabbit for these cheaters to farm everyday, go ahead and play or continue playing. Classes don't even matter anymore because the cheaters cheat the same on every Class.

They also have Macros that allow them to execute all attacks on a single click. These are cheat tool Macros, which is why they can't be detected. As bad as the "Devs" may be, no developer is dumb enough to create PvP with all one hit kills on players. The cheaters don't realize they're broken the mechanics of the game. Damage is high enough, damage mitigation would work if things were normal but it's the sorry players who refused to even try or got their butt kicked over and over, who rely on the cheats and will never give them up.

I had a Willbender who keep teleporting on me from a mile away and using Macros to execute all skills. I kept escaping with a shred of health left. I decided to prove a point to the Willbender... After like the 5th time of him using a teleport hack on me, I escape his attacks again, but instead of moving off, I went after him when he ran, switched to my close combat Ranger and took his @$$ out! He was not 'stat padded' because my damage was correct, he was just using the Macros to land everything in an instance. The fact, I took him out as a non cheater proves, you just have to know your Class and when to do what at what time but these cheaters are beyond saving now and thus the game is just garbage.

I'm going to eventually make a video of a "Stat Padded" Zerg and post it all over the internet. I want those who haven't bothered with GW2 to see just how silly it looks. No player vs player in it anymore, it's players for "stats padders."

Looks like it's time to upgrade my PC so I can try New World.

He can't deal damage to 90% of the players. So he's only able to damage the bottom 10%. Not kill, just damage. Honestly, that makes him a Legend, just in a different way.

In the case of the OP, it seems to be a classic case of exhibiting what is called "locus of control" and signs of victim mentality, where there person simply cannot acknowledge their own shortcomings and blames it on everyone and everything else. There's more to it and that stuff is usually connected to other issues, but I don't want to get into it so that it doesn't seem like I'm insulting or attacking the OP, that's not the goal here. The only BS I've run into of late was a Daredevil that was able to stay stealthed while attacking me, and I think that was just the servers being weird, or something to do with Spear on Thief. As for macros executing all skills at once, and everyone and their dog using them... Lol

Ever since the Cele nerf, I've been doing more damage than ever. 90% of players now explode when I burst them. It's glorious. I hit a guy for 8k with Nomad's Advance on Vindicator. I was doing like 800 to most players before. Lmfao

Well, no. Because it doesn't require being "riled up". It's literally right there under "view profile".

If you behaved better, you wouldn't be concerned about people going through your posting history.
