Upgrade to HoT to use this feature - Trading Post
So items I could buy on TP when i was a free to play account are now unavailable because it says upgrade to Heart of Thorns even though I have upgraded my steam acc to HoT and PoF. Is this a known bug? I can clearly see the DLCs on my GW2 page and I tried to validate but it did not help.

There is a 5 day waiting period that is automated until the TP fully unlocks.
Can you access to the PoF or HoT map ?

If you are unsure, do you have access to your raptor permanently ? If yes, your DLC are correctly activated but you will have to wait 5 days to be able to sell stuff in the trading post.
I already told you that the items I could buy on free to play, some are always purschaseable even on free accounts, now I can't purschase them after I upgraded and it says requires HoT, it has nothing to do with the 5 days waiting period for these items on the TP. I have all the HoT and PoF upgrades in the game.

Wait the 5 days. Well, wait the days left when you purchased your expansions. TP is locked as it verifies you to be a genuine account as an anti-bot measure.

If it has nothing to do with the 5 days waiting, please use the ticket system IG (Press ESC -> Support) and send a bug report.
Once your account starts the upgrade process the account gets locked in some ways for 5 days to ensure that you used a legit payment method to purchase that account upgrade. This is done to prevent bots from using stolen credit card information and similar stuff from being able to do bad stuff. Basically any possible method to transfer any kind of items or currency from one to another account, including sending mails or using the guild bank.

Usually a free2play account has rather strict restrictions for those types of things, like limited tradig post access or not beign able to send mails with items or gold. But having a full account usually gets rid of those restrictions. But like mentioned earlier, it is possible to use a fake payment option to temporarily get a full account, like paying with nonexistent money or using stolen money. So to prevent bots or gold sellers from being able to easily abuse this time until it's detected that it's not a legit purchase they give themself 5 days of time to check it.

But this process is a one time thing. Once you have a full account it will always stay one. So just wait those 5 days until your upgrade is fully upgraded. And yes, I know that these anti bot protection mechanisms can be annoying. But still less annoying than having to deal with tons of bots. Especially since it really is just a one time thing.

I'm not sure the problem here is related to the 5 days waiting period since he said he got the xpac PoF / HoT on steam but still see in game "Buy PoF + HoT", he should have access to PoF / HoT content right away including the raptor mount (trading post will take 5 days from there)

He should probably just contact the anet support, they will fix the problem if any.
