I Thought I Would Give My Feedback
"Wow this game is amazing I forgot why I quit!"

> Insanely Unbalanced Classes For All Content
> Extremely Forced Meta Or Get Rolled Over In WvW
> Off-Meta Classes That Perform Decently And I Find Fun Are Figuratively Taken Behind The Woodshed With A Nerf
> Realize I Have A Personality And Not Going To Conform And Copy & Paste A Build
> Keybind Mount Issues That Are "Working As Intended"
> SPVP Is Win Traded To All Hell, Meta Abused To Oblivion, And Full Of Bots
> Game Now Crashes To Desktop After Forced DX11
> Steam Accounts Are Worthless
> Quit

GW2's strength are it's open world and raid grouping mechanisms. Latter is real friendly for solo players to join in.

A month ago, late at night, mid week, was playing my alt doing the hearts and hero points. Zone was quiet, not a peep. Chat was completely dead or so I thought. Out of the blue I could feel slight zone lag and random chat became busy and spammy like a mofo.

From chat speak there was a world boss event that was about to start. Opened up the map, saw 4 players with mentor tags up all gathered in same area. Tagged a random mentor joined his squad and ported to their location. The event itself was lit, never seen so many players gathered in one area.

Mechanics to join the world boss raid were eeezy peezy, best in class vs the competition. No one questioning your level, gear score or spec. One click and ported straight to the event and got lots of phat lewt chests to open when it ended, winner winner chicken dinner.

Mindless solo open world content is not my forte, of course anything "works there" but then again try soloing a champ without a competent build lol.

Go try out wvw or spvp without copying a build planner somewhere, while playing one of the following meta builds, I.E spear herald / mesmer. etc.

Better yet try getting into a raid, watch how fast you're booted

cool story, now counter with an online game that doesn't have flaws in competitive mode?

in wow, i remember getting stun locked from 100-0 from a rogue. Or how did those warsong gulch games feel when your group is getting spawn camped from the get go and your final kill / death ratio is 0-50?? lol

Exactly the same things happen in GW2's sPvP.

no point rewarding engagement farmers. any valid points op could have made were immediately nullified with "lul u went off topic i won"

It's so mind boggling that they can compare an issues directly with gw2s, but then say it doesn't exist in gw2 or plays it down.

Yeah not going to be productive to argue with someone that's just trolling a post, so just spout stupid crap like they do and they eventually go away.

Also I noticed you didn't address or debunk any of my points, why are you here.

I feel like this has a lot to do with power creep, and Arenanet struggling to control the monster of complexities they introduced with each expansion.

In my experience right before leaving as HoT released, the meta problems were still there, but it was no worse than sneaky Thieves or Mesmer jank or whatever I hardly remember. Also you could have known who was playing what in the first two seconds of engagement, because it was simpler and everyone could build that class for themselves. Sort of a standard accessible competitive multiplayer experience like TF2. Coming back with the gap of 5 expansions between me and the average player, every build is incomprehensible. I will literally have to buy every expansion and build these characters out to begin to understand what the hell is even happening.

Maybe I have no idea what I'm talking about, and this is all bogus. But.

I got all expansions, know *most* weapons and skills tied of each class.

But knowledge is meaningless if your class lacks cleasning spam and you go up against a condi spammer.

Or going up against a player that just invuls for half the fight and 2 shots you as a warrior (most hp and armor) with demo gear (tanky) and brawler runes (tanky) with a build setup for slight bunkering.

I find it funny that you can just slot mech, and the pet will literally passively hit you for 2k, meanwhile if a base engi were to say, place all turrets and crate, wouldn't even be able to kill the mech. A PET

well , the mechanist is one of the laziest classes in game and pretty easy to play (i know it because i mained it at one point but switched then to condi harbinger , now dual pistol one button power deadeye)
Dual pistol is much better with daredevil as you become harder to catch and better at chasing others.

Shoot, can I slot a random elite spec and have a borderline unkillable (very hard to kill without actually focusing it) pet thats ranged and hits like a truck? No just mech? Seems balanced to me
