PvE? Aside from normal mode Fractals and Strikes, nope. The replies are literally scamming you.

There's demand for Raids/ Fractal/ Strike CMs (the actual endgame) but they are extremely gated by the community (Killproof, Title requirements etc.) and there are no automated tools/ queues so you'll only get into those by searching for Discord based guilds outside of the game and be lucky enough to get into trainings.

As for the open world: anything that isn't the newest maps or the classic profitable metas that have a % to drop an Infusion, is borderline dead.

People in this Steam community (no doubt the same folks from the forums) legit run a scam marketing campaign for GW2 here on Steam discussions that is overly positive and they are bolstered by the moderators who delete criticism, if you want a far less biased community that'll give you actual answers check the subreddit.

you can find a group or ad your group in the lfg. fractals are easy to get a group for. they only become hard to find a group to carry you when you get to t4. which is the highest. but you can get ascended from t3. and none one bugs about your build in those. ive only seen title requirements for pvp tournaments. which makes sense to an extent. why not form the best group possible to make the most gold. pve is just all around fun and full of people with the commander role that will help or lead the way. none of the pve is border line dead. you may be on a server long enough for it to start to empty. then the game sends a notification to change servers for a higher pop. gives you a reward and puts you exactly where you were. one of the best metas is heart of thorns and its not new by any means. no scam here man. i play this game bc it is the best mmo that has ever been made in my opinion.

They prioritize new players into their raid, it's extremely simple to start raiding with them. And yes it's on discord as the instructor will explain vocally the fight, the mechanic, and instruct command to the group along the fight ! You can't pug without discord if you don't known anything about the incoming fight, you need discord, it's common sense and this is true for every mmorpg.

In conclusion, my arguments are verifiable facts, yours in other hands aren't, just bunch of junk emitted by the endless troll that pollute this forum
